Associate Chiropractor

The Health Lounge | Cranleigh, Surrey

Salary: Competitive PAYE base salary + commission

Hours: Full-time or part-time, with flexible working arrangements

About The Health Lounge

The Health Lounge is an established, independent multidisciplinary clinic in the heart of Cranleigh, Surrey. Since opening in 2019, we have built a strong reputation within our local community, offering chiropractic care, sports therapy and psychological therapies.

We are currently exploring opportunities to expand our services to include private GP consultations and blood testing, with the long-term vision of bringing a wider range of healthcare professionals together under one roof.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Chiropractor to join our friendly team and help us grow our chiropractic services.

This is an opportunity to build your own patient base within an established clinic, with the security of PAYE employment, substantial marketing support and the opportunity to grow alongside the business.

What we offer

Competitive salary and commission

PAYE employment with a guaranteed base salary.
Performance-related commission.
5.6 weeks paid holiday per year
Opportunities to review your salary and commission as your patient base develops.
Full-time or part-time hours, with a flexible working pattern agreed together.

A substantial investment in building your patient base

We recognise that starting at a new clinic can feel like a significant step, particularly when building your patient base from scratch.

We are prepared to invest approximately £15,000–£20,000 in marketing during your first year, with the potential to continue this investment beyond the first year if successful.

We have worked with the same marketing agency since 2019 and have considerable experience in building an associate's diary.

When our previous associate joined us with no existing patient base, our marketing campaign generated:

20 new patients in their first week.
85 new patients during their first six weeks.

A dedicated launch plan

We want you to feel supported from the outset. Our approach includes:

Starting your marketing campaign approximately four weeks before your first day, with the aim of having patients booked into your diary from day one.
A dedicated six-week launch period, with our five part-time Clinical Assistants focused on helping build your new-patient diary.
Developing a screening calendar together, either before your start date or during your first six weeks.
Ongoing marketing and patient-generation activities to help maintain a consistent flow of new patients.

A supportive and flexible working environment

As a small independent clinic, we value the wellbeing of our team just as much as the wellbeing of our patients.

We offer:

A friendly, collaborative multidisciplinary team.
The opportunity to work alongside an experienced principal chiropractor.
Flexibility around your weekly working pattern.
Open communication and support with any challenges you may experience.
Opportunities for professional development and to grow alongside the clinic.
Facilities: Access to an x-ray machine with DACBR reporting capabilities
Continuous Professional Development: Regular training, including exclusive techniques like gyroscopic atlas protocol, Gonstead, Specific Upper Cervical (NUCCA/Blaire), and more.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

Is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).
Has strong adjusting and clinical assessment skills.
Communicates confidently and builds positive relationships with patients.
Is motivated to develop and maintain their own patient base.
Enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Is enthusiastic about participating in community screenings and patient-generation activities.
Is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

We welcome applications from chiropractors at different stages of their careers.

Interested in joining us?

We would love to hear from you!

Please apply with your CV and a brief introduction outlining your experience and preferred working hours.

We would be delighted to arrange an informal conversation and invite you to visit the clinic, meet our team and discuss the opportunity further.
