Just a short car/train ride from Edinburgh, Scotland - West Lothian Chiropractic has an amazing new opportunity for an Associate to join their team in either their Livingston or Uphall clinics or both!
We are offering you: the choice to be employed or self-employed, a flexible schedule, training and mentorship opportunities and an existing patient base. This unique position allows you to define your own chiropractic style and technique when treating your patients.
About the Practice
West Lothian Chiropractic is a long-established Chiropractic clinic in Uphall, 15 minutes outside of
Edinburgh!
We have been providing expert services to the West Lothian community for over 20
years and have recently expanded and have opened an additional clinic in Livingston Clinic (See photos). Our mission is to care for the health and wellbeing of our community. The practice is a busy, modern and friendly place with a focus on Chiropractic care and massage therapy.
Our team is made up of 5 Chiropractors, 4 massage therapists, and 3 outstanding Chiropractic
Assistants. We are looking to add a Chiropractor to our newly opened Livingston practice as well as add a 6th Chiropractor to our team, based in our Uphall location.
There are monthly team meetings plus personal one-to-ones for training and mentorship purposes.
We practice a wide range of techniques including: Diversified, SOT, Activator, Thompson and
Gonstead. However, we would be happy to accommodate techniques that you are comfortable or
proficient in.
We are a very busy practice currently averaging 8 to 10 new patients per week. Most of our schedule
is made up of long-standing patients that are on ongoing maintenance care. We put a lot of
emphasis on customer service and making a difference to our patient’s day-to-day lives by relieving
pain and enabling them to function at their best. We treat a wide range of patients and ages from:
newborns to the elderly.
Patient appointments last 10 minutes.
About the Position
Our position is unique in that you can choose whether to be employed or self-employed. Self-employment is based on a progressive percentage scale, done in stages. This would be starting at 40% and eventually leading to 50%.

About the Place
One of the clinics of West Lothian Chiropractic is based in Uphall, West Lothian. Our fantastic location means we have the best of both worlds. We are surrounded by a fantastic local community and are only 15 minutes from Edinburgh and 30 minutes from Glasgow!
Uphall is an incredible place to live, as our traditional walking town offers a diverse range of things to do and see. If you are looking for refreshments, there are a plethora of cafes, restaurants and Scottish pubs to choose from. We are also situated next to the Union Canal, which stretches across the central belt of Scotland - with plenty of cycle and walking routes to choose from.
Their new clinic in Livingston is also a short journey away from Edinburgh City Centre, known for it's charming independent shops and retail outlets.
However, if you prefer a more city feel we are an easy commute away from both Edinburgh and Glasgow by train, car or bus. We are right next to both the M8 and M9 so there is plenty of opportunity for travel.
Edinburgh City Centre is filled with history, fantastic shopping, food and amazing attractions, there is something for everyone! Visit the famous Edinburgh Castle, walk the historic Royal Mile or shop through vibrant Princes Street. Edinburgh also has great travel links to surrounding areas of beautiful Scotland.
