Associate Chiropractor – Self-Employed Opportunity

Are you looking to do more than just adjust people as a chiropractor?

At Optimal Health Inspired – Chiropractic and Sports Therapy Clinic, we believe chiropractic care should be about more than simply making someone feel better for a few days.

We want our chiropractors to educate, empower and inspire their patients to take responsibility for their long-term health — helping them understand their bodies, move better and develop the tools they need to look after themselves at home.

We are looking for an experienced self-employed chiropractor with at least 2–3 years of clinical experience who is a confident adjuster, enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a growing clinic with a strong focus on preventative care and rehabilitation.

The role

You will be joining a team of three other practitioners within a supportive, established and growing clinic.

Our appointments are typically 15–20 minutes, allowing you to work efficiently while still providing hands-on care tailored to each individual patient.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable combining:

Spinal and extremity adjustments
Soft tissue work and muscle release techniques
Mobility work
Stretching and exercise advice
Patient education and self-management
Rehabilitation and preventative care

We would particularly love to find someone who actively exercises, understands movement and rehabilitation, and is confident teaching patients exercises and stretches that they can incorporate into their everyday lives.

Additional skills such as acupuncture, dry needling or cupping would be welcomed, although they are not essential.

Our philosophy

We are not a high-volume clinic.

Our aim is not simply to get patients through the door, adjust them and move on to the next person.

We want to build meaningful relationships with our patients and help them understand why they are experiencing their problems and what they can do to prevent them from returning.

Our focus is on helping people become stronger, more mobile, more confident and more independent with their health.

We don't just want to treat the patient in front of us — we want to teach them how to look after themselves for years to come.

What you'll be supported by

You won't be expected to build everything alone.

You'll be joining a team supported by:

Three other experienced practitioners
A dedicated clinical assistant/front desk team
A marketing team helping to generate awareness and new patients
An established clinic environment and systems
An existing patient diary to help you build momentum

You will initially take over a diary of approximately 10–15 clients per week, with the opportunity to grow this over time.

We also encourage our practitioners to get involved with local marketing and community activity approximately once a month, helping to build relationships and awareness around the local area.

Location

📍 Between Send and Ripley, Woking, Surrey

We are approximately 10 minutes from Guildford and Woking town centres, with easy access just off the A3.

Hours & structure

This is a full-time self-employed position, working approximately 35 hours per week across six shifts.

For the first 3–6 months, there will be a £2,000 monthly retainer, with a review during this period as your diary develops.

Following successful completion of the six-month probationary period, the remuneration will move to % commission, with this reviewed annually and linked to performance and contribution to the practice.

Who we're looking for

You will ideally:

Have 2–3+ years of chiropractic experience
Be a confident and competent adjuster
Be comfortable with spinal and extremity adjusting
Enjoy hands-on soft tissue and muscle release techniques
Have a genuine interest in exercise, movement and rehabilitation
Be confident teaching patients stretches and exercises
Have a warm, personable and enthusiastic approach
Be reliable, professional and motivated to grow
Believe in educating patients rather than creating dependency
Want to develop within a supportive team and contribute to the wider clinic

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who shares our belief that health is something we should actively work on, not simply something we react to when it goes wrong.
