Build Your Career. Master Your Craft. Help Lead What Comes Next.
Royal City Chiropractic | Guelph, Ontario
Some associate positions give you a room and tell you to build a practice.
This is something different.
Royal City Chiropractic is looking for a full-time associate who wants to become an exceptional chiropractor, build a remarkable career and potentially become the future leader and owner of a thriving practice.
The opportunity for growth is real and immediate. Our established practice is busy, our new clinic has been designed for expansion, and our online presence and reputation continue to generate strong patient demand. We are not looking for someone simply to manage overflow. We are looking for the right person to help us grow what comes next.
Is This You?
You didn’t choose chiropractic because you wanted an ordinary job.
You chose it because you believe skilled, thoughtful chiropractic care can meaningfully change how people feel, function and experience their lives.
You want to become excellent at adjusting, not merely competent. You want to understand how to assess people, communicate clearly, earn trust, make good clinical decisions and deliver care that matters.
You want feedback. You want responsibility. You want to learn how a successful practice actually works. Eventually, you may want to lead and own one yourself.
If that sounds like you, keep reading.
This Is Not a Passive Associate Position
This is not the right opportunity for someone looking for a few shifts, a room to rent or a comfortable position built entirely on someone else’s effort.
You will receive patients, mentorship, systems, administrative support and a strong foundation, but you will also be expected to contribute.
That means:
- Taking responsibility for the experience and outcomes of your patients
- Continually developing your adjusting and clinical skills
- Learning to communicate chiropractic with clarity and conviction
- Participating in patient education and community outreach
- Helping identify opportunities to serve more people
- Contributing to the culture, standards and growth of the clinic
- Becoming someone the team and our patients can depend upon
You will not be expected to know everything on your first day. You will be expected to be curious, coachable and willing to work at becoming excellent.
What You Will Learn
Working closely with a chiropractor who has built and led a successful practice for more than 20 years, you will develop the clinical, communication and leadership skills that cannot be learned from textbooks alone.
Mentorship will include:
- Efficient, specific and confident activator and diversified adjusting
- Neurological, spinal and functional assessment
- Clinical decision-making and appropriate case management
- Communicating recommendations without pressure or fear
- Building strong, long-term patient relationships
- Managing the flow and responsibility of a busy practice
- Patient education and community involvement
- Practice systems, team leadership and business fundamentals
- The realities of growing and eventually owning a chiropractic practice
Our care is centred on chiropractic. We also use neurological and spinal assessment technology, Class IV laser, shockwave therapy and guided rehabilitation when they genuinely support the patient’s care.
What You Are Stepping Into
Royal City Chiropractic is an established, growing practice in a newly renovated clinic in Guelph.
You will have:
- Consistent exposure to new and existing patients
- A strong very local reputation and established referral base
- Experienced administrative and clinical support
- Marketing and systems already in place
- A clinic built to support multiple chiropractors
- Hands-on mentorship and honest feedback
- Increasing autonomy as your skills and judgment develop
- The opportunity to build a substantial practice without starting alone
- A potential path toward leadership, equity and eventual ownership
The succession opportunity is genuine, but it is not automatic. It must be earned through clinical excellence, shared values, contribution, leadership and sustained mutual trust. For the right person, the intention is to build toward a carefully planned transition, not an indefinite associateship with vague promises about “someday.”
The Person We Want Beside Us
You may be an outstanding new graduate or an early-career chiropractor ready for more.
What matters most is that you are:
- Deeply committed to chiropractic
- Eager to become an excellent hands-on adjuster
- Warm, confident and able to connect with many different kinds of people
- Full of heart and hungry to learn
- Dependable and willing to take ownership
- Emotionally mature and receptive to honest feedback
- Motivated by contribution, not merely by convenience
- Interested in building something over the long term
- Excited by the possibility of future leadership and ownership
- Registered, or eligible for registration, with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario
Our Purpose
At Royal City Chiropractic, we provide life-changing, restorative care that helps people feel better, build resilience and develop greater trust in their bodies.
We believe chiropractic should be delivered with skill, integrity, humanity and hope.
We are a clinic that patients trust, a team that loves working together and a practice that will continue serving Guelph for decades. We are looking for someone who wants to help create that future, and may eventually lead it.
