About Us

Katherine Sports & Family Chiropractic is looking for a passionate & enthusiastic chiropractor for a FIFO locum position in Katherine NT. Katherine Sports & Family Chiropractic has a long-standing patient base currently 90+ per week with approximately 5+ new patients a week. Tourist season starts in April when our patient numbers increase. We are looking for our new Chiro to start the next rotation - April 11th to 29 April sharing the FIFO role with Dr Saunders.

Katherine will suit anyone with a sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors and would enjoy being part of an amazing, inclusive community. There are many sporting clubs, hiking, camping and adventures to be had in the region. Office hours allow for a strong work-life balance.

Shift times are structured to ensure the best fit for patients and chiropractors with no weekend work. The clinic has are strong, effective systems and procedures in place, including new patient online bookings through the website.

Competitive remuneration package 50% + GST - travel assistance, car & accommodation available.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 2 years clinical experience minimum.
  • Confidence in delivering and communicating chiropractic to all ages and demographics.
  • Strong manual adjusting skills are required (particularly lumbopelvic side posture)
  • Confidence with pregnancy & paediatric care.
  • Confidence in communicating wellness care principles and maintaining an existing client base.
  • A willingness to take time with the care they deliver to each individual.
  • The ability to work autonomously and has good time management skills and thorough client notes.
  • Current AHPRA registration is required and recognition with all major health funds is essential.
